NORTH WEST LEICESTERSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL

The District of North West Leicestershire (Meadow Lane, Coalville and North Street, Whitwick) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1998 and (Vicarage Street, Whitwick) (Prohibition of Waiting and Revocation) Order 1998. Notice is hereby given that on 31st July 1998, North West Leicestershire District Council (the Council”) acting as agents for Leicestershire County Council pursuant to arrangements under section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972, made the above Orders under sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3) and 4(2) and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act”) and all other enabling powers.   The Orders will come into operation on 3rd August 1998. Their effects are as described in The London Gazette issue No. 54375, dated 19th April 1996, Ref. 549.   Copies of the Orders, previous Order, plans and statement of reasons, may be inspected at the Council Offices, Whitwick Road, Coalville, during normal opening hours.   If you wish to question the validity of the Orders or of any provisions contained in them on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders or either of them, you may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made apply to the High Court for that purpose.
