Notice of application for a licence to abstract water
Take notice that Smith Brothers Farms Ltd., Riverside Estate Office, Fazeley of Tamworth, Staffordshire BY8 3RW, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from Borehole at Ganwell Park, at National Grid Reference SK 1466 0107 at Ganwell Park in Parish Ganwell and Hints BY5 5SW. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 66 cubic metres per hour, 1,584 cubic metres per day, 100,000 cubic metres per year, between April and October each year. The water will be used for Spray Irrigation of Agricultural Crops. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents sumitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Smith Brothers, Riverside Estate, Fazeley, between 31st July and 31st August 1998. Any person who wishes to make respresentations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Sentinel House, Wellington Crescent, Fradley Park, Lichfield, Staffordshire WS13 8RR, before the end of the said period. on behalf of Smith Brothers Farms Ltd. 27th July 1998.
