Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Joseph Rochford Gardens Ltd., of Pipers End, Letty Green, Hertfordshire SG14 2PB, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from chalk at National Grid Reference TL 288 106, at Letty Green, Hertfordshire. The proposal is to abstract water at the rate of 36,000 cubic metres per year.   A copy of the application and any maps, plans and other documents submitted with it, may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours, at Pipers End, Letty Green, between 3rd August 1998 and 3rd September 1998. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to Water Resources Team Member, Environment Agency, Apollo Court, 2 Bishop Square, St. Albans Road West, Hatfield AL10 9EX, before the end of the said period.
