Notice of application for a licence to abstract water
Take notice that J. Heath, of Red Earth Farm, Rudyard, Leek, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a borehole in the millstone grit series at National Grid Reference SJ 9722 5910 at Red Earth Farm, Rudyard, Leek. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 45 cubic metres per day; 16,425 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for cattle watering. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Red Earth Farm, Rudyard, Leek, between 16th July 1998 and 13th August 1998. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Sentinel House, 9 Wellington Crescent, Fradley Park, Lichfield, Staffordshire WS13 8RR.
