STAFFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL

The Borough of Stafford (St. Thomas Street, Stafford) (Prohibition of Driving of Heavy Commercial Vehicles) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Stafford Borough Council propose to make the above Order in exercise of their powers under sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.   The effect of the proposals will be to prohibit any heavy commercial vehicle (over 7.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight) from proceeding at any time in St. Thomas Street, Stafford.   A copy of the proposed Order and appropriate plan giving full details of the proposal together with a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at my office during normal office hours.   Objections to the proposal together with the grounds on which they are made should be submitted in writing to the undersigned by not later than 7th August 1998.
