The Richmond-upon-Thames Waiting and Loading Restriction (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No.  ) Traffic Order 199  

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames propose to make the above-named Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The general effect of the Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions to operate at any time throughout the week in:   (a)  Cleveland Road, Barnes, the north-west side,       (i) between a point 5 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Stanton Road, Barnes and a point 2 metres north-east of the south-western flank wall of No. 39 Cleveland Road;       (ii) between a point 2.5 metres south-west of the south-western flank wall of No. 45 Cleveland Road and the junction with Station Road, Barnes;   (b)  Cleveland Road, Barnes, the south-east side,       (i) between a point 10 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Ellison Road, Barnes and a point 10 metres north-east of the north-eastern kerb-line of Ellison Road;       (ii) between the junction with Station Road, Barnes and a point 10 metres south-west of that junction;   (c)  Ellison Road and Stanton Road, Barnes, for a length of 10 metres from their junctions with Cleveland Road; and   (d)  Station Road, Barnes, the west side, for 12 metres either side of its junction with Cleveland Road.   Copies of the draft Order, of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of a plan showing the road or lengths of road affected by the Order may be inspected at:   (a) the Civic Centre, (2nd Floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between the hours of 9.15 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays;   (b) the Central Reference Library, Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond, during opening hours; and   (c) Castelnau Library, 75 Castelnau, during opening hours.   Persons desiring to object to the proposals should write to the Head of Highways and Transport, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this notice, giving the grounds of their objection. 17th July 1998.
