LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING
The Havering (Prescribed Route) (No. 2) (1970) (Amendment No. 1) Traffic Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Havering, hereinafter called the Council, on 26th June 1998, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.   The effect of the Order will be to amend the Havering (Prescribed Route) (No. 2) Traffic Order 1970, so as to reduce the length of the one-way working in Angel Way by removing that length of one-way working that extends from the North Street/St. Edwards Way roundabout to a point 3.50 metres south of the common rear boundary of Nos. 35 and 37 North Street.   A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 3rd July 1998, of the Order being amended, the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order and a plan showing the location and effect of the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Directorate of Environment and Planning Reception, 7th Floor, Mercury House, Mercury Gardens, Romford, and at the Town Hall, Main Road, Romford.   Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant Regulations made thereunder, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
