Notice of application for a licence to abstract water
Take notice that West Derby Golf Club, of Yew Tree Lane, West Derby, Liverpool, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a borehole into the sandstone, at National Grid Reference SJ 4130 9286, at Yew Tree Lane, West Derby, Liverpool. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 9.09 cubic metres per hour, 54.55 cubic metres per day and 6,545.45 cubic metres between April and October each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation only. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Yew Tree Lane, West Derby, Liverpool, between 24th June 1998 and 31st July 1998. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, “Mirwell,” Carrington Lane, Sale M33 5NL, before the end of the said period. S.
