Highways Act 1980, Section 116

Highway situated to the south-east of the B4371 350 metres south-west of the junction with East Wall and Lake House Farm turn off in the parish of Rushbury in the county of Shropshire. Notice is hereby given that Shropshire County Council of the Shirehall Abbey, Foregate, Shrewsbury, Shropshire SY2 6ND, intends to apply to the Ludlow Magistrates’ Court, Guildhall, Mill Street, Ludlow in the County of Shropshire, on 11th September 1998, at 10 a.m., for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the stopping-up of a certain highway being an area of 1,080 square metres of the former highway known as B4371, and situated to the south-east of the current route, 350 metres south-west of the junction with East Wall and Lake House Farm turn off in the county of Shropshire, shown edged red on the plan on the grounds that it is unnecessary.   A copy of the notice and plan may be inspected, free of charge, at South Shropshire District Council Offices, Stone House, Corve Street, Ludlow, and at Ludlow Library, 10 Old Street, Ludlow, Shropshire.
