Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that B. W. J. Mosey & Sons, of Sundial Farm, Cawton, York YO6 4LW, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a borehole in the Corallian Limestone at National Grid Reference SE 6384 7677 located at Sundial Farm in the parish of Cawton, Ryedale district of North Yorkshire.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 3.2 cubic metres per hour, 25.6 cubic metres per day, 9,344 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for general agricultural purposes.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Sundial Farm, Cawton, York YO6 4LW, between 18th June and 18th July 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Licensing Section, Dales Area, Coverdale House, Aviator Court, Clifton Moor, York YO30 4GZ, before the end of the said period.
