The City of Newcastle upon Tyne (Thropton Crescent, Regent Farm Estate) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that on 28th May 1998, Newcastle City Council made an Order under sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.   The effect of the Order, which will come into operation on 1st June 1998, is to introduce a no waiting at any time restriction on the west side of Thropton Crescent, Regent Farm Estate, from a point 23 metres north of Rothbury Avenue, northwards for 10 metres.   Full details are contained in the Order which, together with a plan showing the restrictions and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be examined at the offices of the Department of Highways and Transportation, Civic Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne, on Mondays to Fridays from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Further details may be obtained by telephoning the Department of Highways and Transportation on (0191) 2328520 ext. 6057.   If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 28th May 1998, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
