Notice of intention to apply for Order for stopping-up highway

Notice is given that application will be made to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at Telford Magistrates’ Court, Telford Square, Malinsgate, Telford, on 10th July 1998, for an Order that the highway in the administrative area of Telford and Wrekin Council, leading from a point approximately 158 metres from the junction of Newcomen Way and Stanier Drive for a distance of approximately 78 metres in a south-westerly direction, the situation of which is indicated on a plan which may be inspected at Civic Offices, Telford, on Mondays to Fridays, between 9.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. and which is represented by the part coloured brown between the point marked A on the plan and the point marked B shall be stopped up in the following manner, that is to say by stopping-up all rights of the public to use the said highway. The effect of such stopping-up will be to remove all rights of the public to pass and repass over the said land. G. Emmerson, Engineering Policy and Mobility Manager
