New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Section 58

Notice of Substantial Road Works

Three month’s advance notice is hereby given that Derbyshire County Council, as Highway Authority intends to carry out substantial road works for road purposes.   2. The street in which these works will take place is Ashbourne Road (A517), Shottlegate.   3. Work is expected to affect the carriageway between Greenways and Northlands.   4. Work is expected to commence on 3rd August 1998.   5. The works notified will include the following: Planing and resurfacing of carriageway.   6. Subject to the exemptions in the Act and Regulations under it, no street works may be executed for a period of 12 months from the completion of the works described in paragraph 5 without the consent of the said Highway Authority, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.   For queries contact, telephone 01332 842244 (Ref.
