Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Laundrycraft Limit, Egerton Road, Whitchurch, Shropshire is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a borehole in the sand and gravels at National Grid Reference SJ 5479 4179 at Laundrycraft Limited, Egerton Road, Whitchurch, Shropshire.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 11.5 cubic metres per hour; 276 cubic metres per day; 100,740 cubic metres per year (between January and December inclusive each year). The water will be used for laundry purposes.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, during normal working hours at Laundrycraft Limited, Egerton Road, Whitchurch, between 1st May 1998 and 29th May 1998. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Welsh Region, Ffordd Penlan, Parc Menai, Bangor, Gwynedd LL57 4DE, before the end of the said period.
