Notice is hereby given that Landmark Insurance Company Limited applied to HM Treasury on 16th April 1998, for their approval, pursuant to Part II of Schedule 2C of the Insurance Companies Act 1982, to transfer to Liverpool Victoria Insurance Company Limited all of its rights and obligations under certain policies of household and motor insurance written by it in the United Kingdom at the close of business on 15th April 1998. Copies of the statement of particulars of the proposed transfer are available for inspection at the offices of Norton Rose at Kempson House, Camomile Street, London EC3A 7AN, and at the offices of Landmark Insurance Company Limited at 300 Pavilion Drive, Northampton Business Park. Northampton, from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until 16th May 1998. Written representations concerning the transfer may be sent to HM Treasury, Insurance Directorate, 1 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0ET, before 15th June 1998. HM Treasury will not determine the application until after considering any representations made to them before that date.
