LONDON BOROUGH OF ISLINGTON

Islington (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. 7) Order 1998 relating to Blackstock Road, Highbury Park and Highbury Grove. Notice is hereby given that the Islington Borough Council proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.   The general effect of the Order will be to amend the existing, and/or introduce, waiting and loading restrictions in certain parts of the above-named streets.   The prohibitions referred to in the paragraph above will not apply in relation to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or to vehicles of the emergency services.   A copy of the proposed Order, of plans indicating details of the measures referred to above, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order at the following location: The Legal Department, Town Hall, Upper Street, London N1 2UD. Please ask for reference LE/C/HGF.   Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Solicitor to the Council, Legal Department, the Town Hall, Upper Street, London N1 2UD, within the period of 21 days from the date of this notice.
