The M3 Motorway (Minley Interchange Connecting Roads) Scheme 199
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby givens notice that he proposes to make a Scheme under sections 16 and 17 of the Highways Act 1980, which will authorise him to provide for the exclusive use of traffic of Classes I and II of the classes of traffic set out in Schedule 4 to the Highways Act 1980, four special roads to connect the M3 Motorway with other highways at Junction 4A, the Minley Interchange, in Hampshire. Copies of the draft Scheme and the plan referred to in it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours from 13th March 1998, until 24th April 1998, or within 6 weeks from the date of first publication of this notice if that period expires later, at the Highways Agency, Room 5/46A, St. Christopher House, Southwark Street, London SE1 0TE; and at the Highways Agency’s Project Services Operations, Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1SZ; at the offices of Hampshire County Council, The Castle, Winchester, Hampshire SO23 8UD; at Rushmoor Borough Council, Council Offices, Farnborough Road, Farnborough, Hampshire GU14 7JU; and at Hart District Council, Civic Offices, Harlington Way, Fleet, Hampshire GU13 8AE. Any person may object to the making of the Scheme not later than 24th April 1998, or within 6 weeks from the date of publication of this notice if that period expires later, by notice to the Secretary of State at the office of the Divisional Director, Highways Agency, Project Services Operations, Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1SZ, quoting Ref. MSE/5057/M3/0/65/1/1, and stating the grounds of objection. In the preparation of an objection and the statement of grounds of objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.
