Notice of Deposit of Proposals for the Replacement of a Structure Plan Essex Replacement County Structure Plan—Draft Deposit Plan

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has prepared proposals for the above replacement plan. If, and when, these plan proposals are adopted they will form the development plan for Essex County Council and, after 1st April 1998, for Southend-on-Sea Borough Council.   Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection, free of charge, at the Coprorate Information Unit, County Hall, Chelmsford, at all main and branch libraries and at the places listed in the Schedule below during normal office hours or in the case of libraries during normal library hours.   Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals should be sent in writing to the Head of Planning, Essex County Council, County Hall, Chelmsford, Essex CM1 1LF, before 24th April 1998. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made, and may be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals.   After 1st April 1998, anyone wishing to object or make representations on the plan can also do so direct to the Director of Technical Services, Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea.   Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and sent to the addresses specified within the 6 week period ending on 24th April 1998 will have a right to have their objections considered.   Further information is available from Kevin Fraser on 01245 437559.
