The Arun District Council (Off-street Parking Places) Parking Discs Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that Arun District Council in exercise of their powers under sections 32 and 35(1) to (9) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (The Act) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act and of all other enabling powers with the consent of the County Council of West Sussex in accordance with section 39(3) of the Act and after consulting the Chief Officer of Police propose to replace and amend the Arun District Council (Off-street Parking Places) Amendment Order 1997. It is proposed that:   (1) The Order will come into operation on 1st April 1998.   (2) The 1997 Order will be revoked and replaced by the new Order subject to proposed minor amendments.   (3) The excess charge payable shall be increased from £40 to £50.   (4) The excess charge payable (if paid within seven days) shall be increased from £20 to £25.   Any representations or objections should be made in writing within 28 days (Ref.
