Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water
Take notice that G. T. and S. E. Taylor of Carlisle Farm, Main Drove, Little Downham, Ely, Cambridgeshire CB6 2ER, are applying to the Environment Agency to vary Licence Number 6/33/26/S/351, (incorporating, No. 6/33/36/S/206), which authorises the abstraction of water from main drains and from dykes between and within National Grid References: TL 485 852 and TL 486 850; TL 477 844 and TL 478 845; TL 473 839 and TL 473 840; TL 500 854 and TL 503 854; TL 498 852 and TL 499 852; TL 518 860 and TL 519 859 and TL 521 859; TL 528 867 and TL 529 868; TL 535 868 and TL 536 869; TL 529 856 and TL 530 857, TL 529 856; TL 531 854; TL 531 855 and TL 532 856; TL 534 853 and TL 536 855; TL 506 870 and TL 507 870; TL 513 873 and TL 514 870; TL 515 868 and TL 516 867; TL 514 872 and TL 515 872; TL 515 885 and TL 517 883; TL 517 878 and TL 516 881; TL 517 876 and TL 517 875; TL 523 875 and TL 524 875; TL 521 872 and TL 523 874; TL 524 875 and TL 525 876; TL 528 873 and TL 528 874; TL 522 876 and TL 524 869; TL 529 874 and TL 530 875; at Byall Fen Drove, Straight Drove, Pymoor Common, Dunkirk Bridge, First, Second, Third and Black Bank Droves, Little and A Furlong Droves, Main Droves, Sixth, Fifth and Fourth Droves at Coveney and Little Downham, Cambridgeshire. The variation being applied for is to add additional land and abstract water from main drains and farm dykes between and within National Grid References: TL 506 828 and TL 507 827; TL 517 824 and TL 520 828; TL 512 876 and TL 513 874; TL 536 860 and TL 537 860, at West Fen, Dunkirk Bridge, First Drove and Fodder Fen. Application is also made to transfer one parcel of land from Licence Number 6/33/26/S/356 onto Licence Number 6/33/26/S/351 and to transfer the 373 cubic metres of water on Licence Number 6/33/26/S/356 onto Licence Number 6/33/26/S/351, making a total of 7,173 cubic metres per year, between April and October inclusive. No actual increase in abstraction is applied for, the water will be used for spray irrigation. A copy of the application and of any map, plans or other document submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at Carlisle Farm, Main Drove, Little Downham, Ely, Cambridgeshire CB6 2ER, at all reasonable hours during the period 5th March to 6th April 1998.
