Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire County Council intends to make an application to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at Salisbury in the said county at 14.15 p.m. on Tuesday, 7th April 1998, for an Order authorising the stopping-up of the highway named above. The application is being made on the grounds that the highway is unnecessary for public use. A copy of the plan showing the effect of the Order to be applied may be inspected, free of charge, at the County Secretary and Solicitor’s Department, County Hall, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, during normal office hours. The plans can also be inspected at the noticeboard at All Saints Church, Farley, or on site, where a copy is posted. Any objections to the application should be made in writing to the County Secretary and Solicitor’s Department at the address below. Any person upon whom this notice has been served, any person who used the highway or any other person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order may appear before the Court and make their objections or representations known.
