Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water
Take notice that D. J. Collett & Sons, of The Office, Ladyseat House, Holme Fen, Peterborough,
Cambridgeshire PE7 3PR, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary a licence serial
number 6/33/53/S/517, to abstract water from the Cross Drain in the area of the Holmewood
and Stilton Internal Drainage Board, Holme Parish, Huntingdonshire district, Cambridgeshire,
to fill a storage reservoir. The variation being applied for is to add further areas
of land on which water may be applied by spray irrigation, and to add re-abstraction
from drains of the Holmewood and Stilton IDB, between National Grid References TL
218903 and TL 226904, TL 231890 and TL 233879, Holme Parish, Huntingdonshire District,
Cambridgeshire. The rates and quantities of re-abstraction are to remain unchanged,
and will be supported by discharges from the reservoir.
A copy of the application and any map, plan or other document, submitted with it
may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at The Office, Ladyseat
House, Holme Fen, between 30th January 1998, and 27th February 1998.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so
in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon
PE18 8NE, before the end of the said period.
