NOTICE OF LEVY REGULATIONS

The Sea Fish Industry Authority gives notice as follows. In exercise of the Authority’s powers under the above Act, it is their intention to make regulations which will reduce by 10% the rate of levy for sea fish and sea fish products, other than pelagic fish; cockles, mussels and whelks; sea fishmeal, sea fish and sea fish products sold for fishmeal production. The regulations are subject to confirmation by order of Ministers.

The draft regulations are available on the Authority’s website, at www.seafish.org and can be inspected between the hours of 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the office of the Authority at Origin Way, Grimsby, DN37 9TZ or 18 Logie Mill, Logie Green Road, Edinburgh, EH7 4HS. Copies of the draft regulations can be requested from the Authority at the address given below.

The Authority is prepared to receive and consider any objections to the proposed regulations. Any such objections must be made in writing and must be sent, by post or by email, to the Authority at the address given below in order to reach that address not later than 28 days after the date of publication of this notice.
