THE EWM GROUP RETIREMENT AND DEATH BENEFIT SCHEME

Pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925

The EWM Group Retirement and Death Benefit Scheme (the “Scheme”) was established with effect from 1st June 1988.

Antartex Limited (company number SC071934), Ashleybank Investments Limited (company number SC047360, which, prior to 15th November 1994, was called E.W.M. Investments Limited), Duvetco Limited (company number SC346445), The Edinburgh Woollen Mill Limited (company number SC024081), Gibson and Lumgair (Scotland) Limited (company number SC028771), The Heather Mills Company Limited (company number SC017049), Mackinnon of Scotland Limited (company number SC106601), Golf USA Limited (company number SC083117, which, prior to 23rd June 1999, was called Waverley Knitters Limited), Pitlochry Knitwear Company Limited (company number SC055476) and The Millshop Limited (company number SC005530, which, prior to 30th June 1993, was called Scottish Worsteds & Woollens Limited) are or have been participating employers in the Scheme. All contributions to the Scheme have ceased and the Scheme is being wound up with effect from 1st July 2010.

The Scheme trustees have corresponded by post with all known members and other beneficiaries of the Scheme and, in due course, the Scheme will cease to exist. Accordingly, it is of vital importance that any person having a claim against or an interest in the Scheme and who has not received correspondence from Scheme trustees should make themselves known to the Scheme trustees. You may have a claim against or an interest in the Scheme if you were employed by The Edinburgh Woollen Mill Limited or Duvetco Limited or any of their associated companies, even if only on a part-time basis.

Particulars of any claim should be set out in writing and sent to the contact noted below on or before 20th September 2010 . If you fail to do so, the Scheme trustees will distribute the Scheme assets having regard only to the claims and interests of which they have been given notice.

Notification is not required from individuals who are currently in receipt of a pension from the Scheme, who have transferred their Scheme entitlement to another pension scheme or arrangement or who are receiving correspondence relating to the Scheme from its trustees.
