The Queen has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm dated at 1 o’clock in the afternoon of 7 July 2010 to confer the dignity of a Barony of the United Kingdom for life upon the Right Honourable Angela Evans Smith, by the name, style and title of Baroness Smith of Basildon, of Basildon in the County of Essex.
