F&C MANAGED PORTFOLIO TRUST PLC

A petition having been presented to the Court of Session on 16 May 2008 at the instance of F&C Managed Portfolio Trust plc (the "Company"), a public limited company incorporated under the Companies Acts with registered number SC338196 and having its registered office at 80 George Street, Edinburgh EH2 3BU, for confirmation of the cancellation of the share premium account of the Company, the Court pronounced the following interlocutor on 16 May 2008:

The Lord Ordinary, having considered the Petition, there being no Caveat, Appoints the petition to be intimated on the Walls in common form and to be advertised once each in the Edinburgh Gazette and Scotsman newspaper; Allows any party claiming an interest, to lodge Answers thereto, if so advised, within twenty one days after such intimation and service; Remits to Julian Cecil Arthur Voge, WS, Messrs Brodies, 15 Atholl Crescent, Edinburgh, to enquire into and report upon the facts and circumstances set forth in the petition, and the regularity of the present proceedings."

Such intimation is hereby given.
