NOTICE OF THE ISSUE OF A SUBMARINE PIPELINE WORKS AUTHORISATION

The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry hereby gives notice that he has decided to issue, and in consequence has issued, a works authorisation to be held by Chevron Captain Company whose address is 8th Floor, 1 Westferry Circus, London E14 4HA for the construction of a pipeline system between Captain C Manifold and Captain B UTM.

Except with the consent of the Secretary of State, the 254 mm Production pipeline shall be used and to convey oil and to convey oil and gas; the 203.2 mm Test pipeline shall only be used to convey oil and gas; the 203.2 mm Power Water pipeline shall only be used to convey water; the 76.2 mm Service pipeline shall be used and to convey Seawater, Biocide and acid treatments; and the chemical injection umbilical shall only be used to convey scale inhibitor and demulsifier.

The pipelines may be used by the holder and with the holder’s agreement, and with the consent of the Secretary of State, by other persons.

Chevron Captain Company have been appointed operators of the pipelines.
