POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000

In accordance with paragraph 5 of Schedule 4 to the above Regulations, notice is hereby given that application has been made to the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for a Permit under regulation 7 of the Regulations by William Thompson & Sons Ltd in respect of an activity being carried out namely inert landfilling at Rigangower Landfill by Milton, Dumbarton.

The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.

The application may be inspected, free of charge, at SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride G74 5PP, during normal office hours, and by prior arrangement at the local SEPA office at LAW House, Todd Campus, West of Scotland Science Park, Maryhill Road, Glasgow G20 0XA (Tel. 0141 945 6350). Written representation concerning this application may be made to The Registrar, SEPA, 5 Redwood Crescent, Peel Park, East Kilbride G74 5PP, or sent by e-mail to address ppc.applications@sepa.org.uk and if received within 28 days of this Notice, will be taken into consideration in determining the application. Any such representations made by any person will be entered in a public register unless that person requests in writing that they should not be so placed. Where such a request is made there will be included in the register a statement indicating that representations have been made which has been the subject of such a request.
