NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 13

Erection of community windfarm comprising 16 wind turbine generators, substation building construction of associated access tracks and associated works at Aikengall Farm, Dunbar, East Lothian

Notice is hereby given that an environmental statement has been submitted to East Lothian Council by Community Windpower Limited. This relates to planning application 05/00216/FUL, for planning permission for the erection of community windfarm comprising 16 wind turbine generators, substation building construction of associated access tracks and associated works at Aikengall Farm, Dunbar, East Lothian.

A copy of the environmental statement and the associated planning application may be inspected during normal office hours in the register of planning applications kept by East Lothian Council, as the Planning Authority for the area, at Environment Reception, John Muir House, Brewery Park, Haddington during the period of 28 days beginning with the date of this Notice. The application can also be viewed online at www.planning.eastlothian.gov.uk.

Copies of the environmental statement may be purchased from Community Windpower Ltd, Godscroft Lane, Frodsham, Cheshire WA6 6XU, at a cost of £250 for a printed copy (volumes 1 & 2) or £25 for a CD Rom copy. The Non Technical Summary is available free of charge.

Any person who wishes to make representations to East Lothian Council about the environmental statement should make them in writing, within the period of 28 days beginning with the date of this Notice, to the Council at John Muir House, Brewery Park, Haddington EH41 3HA and by addressing them to the Director of Environment.
