NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT TO CONSTRUCT AND OPERATE A 78 MW WINDFARM
AT DERSALLOCH HILL, SOUTH EAST OF STRAITON IN SOUTH AYRSHIRE
Notice is hereby given that CRE Energy (a wholly owned subsidiary of ScottishPower) whose registered address is ScottishPower UK plc, 1 Atlantic Quay, Glasgow G2 8SP has applied under Section 36 of the Electricity Act, 1989 for the consent of the Scottish Ministers to construct and operate a windfarm at Dersalloch Hill, south east of Straiton (grid reference at the site centre: 242000, 604500). The development known as Dersalloch Windfarm would have an electrical output of 78MW.
CRE Energy has also applied for a direction under Section 57 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 that planning permission for the development be deemed to be granted.
A copy of the application and a plan showing the land to which it relates, together with a copy of the Environmental Statement and Technical Appendices in support of the application, explaining the Company’s proposals in more detail and presenting an analysis of the implications, with a summary thereof, are available for inspection during normal working hours at:
