THE KELTNEYBURN HYDRO-GENERATING SCHEME (ACQUISITION OF WATER RIGHTS) ORDER
Notice is hereby given that Keltneyburn Hydro Limited (“the Company”) is applying to the Scottish Ministers for an Order under section 10(5) of and Schedule 5 to the Electricity Act 1989.
The purpose of this order is to authorise the Company to acquire compulsorily the right to abstract and divert water from the Allt Mor and Keltney Burn River System and to use such water for the purpose of generating electricity at a generating station at Keltneyburn.
A copy of the draft Order and accompanying plan may be inspected during normal working hours at Carse Farm, Aberfeldy PH15 2NB.
Any person wishing to object to this application should write to: Lesley Thomson, Scottish Executive Enterprise & Lifelong Learning Department, Consents and Emergency Planning Unit, Meridian Court, 5 Cadogan Street, Glasgow on or before 9 March 2005.
A copy of this notice has been published in The Courier on the Eleventh and Eighteenth both days of February Two Thousand and Five.
