NOTICE OF THE ISSUE OF A SUBMARINE PIPE-LINE WORKS AUTHORISATION

The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry hereby gives notice that she has decided to issue, and in consequence has issued, a works authorisation to be held by Kerr McGee Oil (UK) Plc whose address is 55 Grosvenor Street, London, W1K 3HY for the construction of a pipeline system between the James field and the Janice FPU for the development of the James field.

Except with the consent of the Secretary of State, the 209.2 mm Production pipeline shall be used and to convey Oil and Lift Gas; the Control and Chemical Injection Umbilical sharl only be used to convey hydraulic fluid, lift gas and corrosion inhibitor; and the 2 Control and Chemical Injection Umbilicals shall only be used to convey hydraulic fluid, lift gas and corrosion inhibitor.

The pipe-lines may be used by the holder and with the holder’s agreement, and with the consent of the Secretary of State, by other persons.

Kerr McGee Oil (UK) PLC has been appointed operator of the pipe-lines.
