DUNFERMLINE FLOOD PREVENTION SCHEME 2002

Notice is hereby given in terms of paragraph 8 of the Second Schedule to the Act that the Scottish Ministers have confirmed the above flood prevention scheme.

A copy of the Scheme and plans may be inspected by any person, free of charge, at the following locations between the stated times during a period of six weeks from 3rd September 2004.

Carnegie Library, 1 Abbot Street, Maygate, Dunfermline,

KY12 1NL

Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: 9:30am until 7:00pm

Wednesday/Saturday: 9:30am until 5:00pm

Sunday: Closed


Dell-Farquharson Centre, 7 Netherton Broad Street, Dunfermline, KY12 7DS

Monday to Friday: 8:00am until 10.00pm

Saturday: 9:00am until 4:00pm

Sunday: Closed


The Fire Council Headquarters, Transportation Services, Rothesay House, North Street, Glenrothes, KY7 5PN

Monday to Friday 9:00am until 5:00pm.

Saturday/Sunday: Closed


Under paragraph 9 of the Second Schedule to the Act, any person who desires to question the validity of the flood prevention scheme or any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Flood Prevention (Scotland) Act 1961, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with in the making or confirmation of the Scheme, may within six weeks from 3rd September 2004 make an application to the Court of Session.
