Company Director Disqualification Order
COMPANY DIRECTORS Disqualification ACT 1986
In a summary application presented to Edinburgh Sheriff Court in terms of Section 7 of the above Act at the instance of Her Majesty’s Secretary of State for Trade and Industry in respect of Simon Thomson formerly of ‘Sanibel’, Retreat Road, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Republic of Ireland and whose whereabouts are unknown, the Sheriff on 29th October 2003 ordered the following:
Grants a Disqualification Order under Section 6(1) of the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986 against Simon Thomson formerly of ‘Sanibel’, Retreat Road, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Republic of Ireland and whose present whereabouts are unknown, ordering that he shall not, without leave of court, be a director of a company, or in any way, either directly or indirectly be concerned or take part in the promotion, formation or management of a company for a period of not less than 5 years from this date; directs that this order be registered by The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry; Appoints intimation of this order to be made once in the Edinburgh Gazette ; finds the defender liable to the pursuer in the expenses of application and allows an account thereof to be given in and remits same, when lodged to the Auditor of Court to tax and report.
