EAST CAMBRIDGESHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL
THE NATURAL MINERAL WATER, SPRING WATER AND BOTTLED DRINKING WATER REGULATIONS 1999
(as amended, 2003)

Notice is hereby given that East Cambridgeshire District Council has considered an application from Sascombe Vineyards, The Thrift, Kirtling, Near Newmarket, Suffolk, CB8 9JB for the said Council to recognise a water source under the terms of the above Regulations.

The source of the water in question (known as Catalynga Spring) is situated at the above given company address.

East Cambridgeshire District Council as the relevant authority under the said Regulation is satisfied information provided by the company meets the requirements of Schedule 1 of the Regulations and of Article 1 and Annex 1 of EC Directive 80/777 relating to the exploitation and marketing of natural mineral water. These cover the physical and chemical characteristics of the water, its microbiological quality, toxic substances, stability and freedom from pollution.

East Cambridgeshire District Council have granted recognition of the above mentioned source in accordance with the Natural Mineral Water, Spring Water and Bottled Water Regulations 1999 (as amended, 2003)
