The sanctions measures against Liberia imposed pursuant to UNSCR 1343(2001) and renewed by UNSCR 1406(2002) have been renewed by UNSCR 1478(2003) of 6th May 2003 for a further period of twelve months. The measures are given forth in the United Kingdom under the Orders referred to above and, in accordance with their provisions, these Orders remain in force.
