Form of Application for a Standard Consumer Credit Licence

I, John Vickers, Director General, Office of Fair Trading hereby give general notice pursuant to section 6(2) of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 that until 30th April 2003, application for a standard consumer credit licence shall be made either in the Form CC1/96 or in the Forms CC1S/02 (for sole traders) or CC1C/02 (for partnerships, companies or other organisations). All three forms are entitled “Application for a Consumer Credit Licence”. In either case the application shall be accompanied by the particulars required by the relevant form.

On or after 1st May 2003 application for a consumer credit licence shall be made only in the Form CC1/96.

This notice supersedes General Notice Number 51, which is hereby cancelled.
