Notice of Disclaimer of Bona Vacantia
The Companies Act 1985
Whereas Tullibody Land Company Limited was dissolved on the 5th of February 1982 in terms of Section 290 of the Companies Act 1948.
And whereas in terms of Section 354 of the said Act all property and rights whatsoever vested in or held on trust for a dissolved company immediately before its dissolution are deemed to be bona vacantia . And whereas immediately before its dissolution the said Tullibody Land Company Limited was the proprietor of the heritable property known as Tullibody Old Parish Church and churchyard, Menstrie Road, Tullibody which is deemed to be vested in the Crown as bona vacantia in terms of Section 354. And whereas the vesting of said property came to my notice on the 15th of August 2002.
Now, therefore, I, the undersigned Andrew Christie Normand, the Queen’s and Lord Treasurer’s Remembrancer, in pursuance of Section 355 of the said Act Do by this Notice hereby disclaim the Crown’s whole right and title, in, and to the aforesaid property.
