Public Notice of Amendment of an Application Made Under Section 36 of The Electricity Act 1989
GARROGIE HYDRO-ELECTRIC GENERATING STATION
Notice is hereby given that Innogy plc (whose registered office is at Windmill Hill Business Park, Whitehill Way, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN5 6PB) has amended its application to the Scottish Ministers (originally made in November 2001) for consent to construct and operate a hydro electric generating station on the River Fechlin at Garrogie, near Whitebridge, Inverness-shire.
Innogy plc has previously applied for a direction under Section 57(2) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 that planning permission for the development should be deemed to be granted.
A copy of the amended application, with a plan showing the land to which it relates, together with a copy of the original Environmental Statement and Non-technical Summary thereof and Addenda to these documents, describing the amendments to Innogy plc’s proposals in more detail and presenting an analysis of the environmental implications, are available for inspection free of charge during normal office hours at:

Copies of the Environmental Statement, Non-technical Summary and Addenda thereto may be obtained from the Environment Department at Innogy plc’s Registered Office (tel. 01793 893729) while stocks last.
Any objections or representations should be made in writing to Lesley Thomson, The Scottish Executive, Consents and Emergency Planning Unit, 2nd floor, Meridian Court, 5 Cadogan Street, Glasgow G2 6AT, or by e-mail to Lesley.Thomson@scotland.gsi.gov.uk to be received not later than 20th December 2002.
Objections or representations should identify the station and specify the grounds for objection. Individual objections or representations will be copied to the local planning authority unless originators state explicitly that they do not wish them to be passed on.
