ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT ADDENDUM

The Scottish Ministers, hereby give notice that they have published an Addendum to the Environmental Statement published on 19th October 2001 in accordance with the provisions of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 as amended by Part IV of the 1988 Regulations and Regulation 49 of the 1999 Regulations.

The purpose of this Addendum is to detail alterations to the environmental assessment of the bypass proposals, required as a result of a design change to the vertical profile of the route as it passes through Gordon Castle Estate and should be read in conjunction with the Environmental Statement published on 19th October 2001.

Copies of this Addendum along with the earlier Environmental Statement may be inspected free of charge during business hours from 8th October 2002 until 19th November 2002 at the offices of the Scottish Executive Development Department, Victoria Quay, Edinburgh. Any person wishing to make comment or representations on this Addendum may do so in writing to the Chief Road Engineer, Scottish Executive Development Department, Victoria Quay, Edinburgh, EH6 6QQ, quoting reference OTF/41718/4(A). Any such comment or representations must be received on or before 19th November 2002.
