ROADS (SCOTLAND) ACT 1984
DUNDEE CITY COUNCIL (KIRK STREET AND YEAMAN’S LANE, DUNDEE) (STOPPING-UP) ORDER 2003
Notice is hereby given that Dundee City Council propose to make an Order under section 68(1) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to stop up the lengths of roads, footpaths and footways specified in the Schedule to this Order, which are unnecessary following the demolition of Sharp’s Court and Yeaman’s Court.
A copy of the proposed Order and of the accompanying plan showing the lengths of roads, footpaths and footways to be stopped up, together with a statement of the reasons for making the Order will be available for inspection at Dundee City Council Offices, Reception, Floor 4, 21 City Square, Dundee, free of charge during normal office hours from 27th September 2002 to 25th October 2002, both dates inclusive.
Any person may within 28 days from 27th September 2002 object to the making of the Order by notice in writing to the Director of Support Services, Dundee City Council, 21 City Square, Dundee. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.

SCHEDULE
Area of Roads, Footpaths and Footways to be Stopped-Up
Those areas of roads, footpaths and footways known as Kirk Street and Yeaman’s Lane contained within the following boundary and depicted on Plan No TRO97. which is available for inspection as noted above, will be stopped-up as follows:
1. | From the intersection of the east heel-line of the main carriageway of Yeaman’s Lane with the south edge of the footpath adjacent to the north side of Yeaman’s Lane at the point marked “A” on the said plan eastwards for a distance of 113 metres or thereby following the south edge of the said footpath to its intersection with the extended west edge of the footpath connecting Yeaman’s Lane with Kirk Street on the west side of Nos 67 to 78 Kirk Street at the point marked “B”. |
2. | From “B” northwards for a distance of 77 metres or thereby following the extended line of the west edge of the footpath connecting Yeaman’s Lane with Kirk Street on the west side of Nos 67 to 78 Kirk Street to its intersection with the south heel-line of South Road at the point marked “C”. |
3. | From “C” for a distance of 187 metres or thereby westwards then southwards following the south heel-line of South Road then the east heel-line of Yeaman’s Lane to the point marked “A”. |
