TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1997
THE PERTH AND KINROSS COUNCIL (PARTS OF CASTLE GABLE, PERTH) (STOPPING UP) ORDER 2002

Perth and Kinross Council hereby give notice that they have made an Order under the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 authorising the stopping up of parts of Castle Gable, Perth the effect of which will be to extinguish any right of passage which persons or vehicles may have to use the following sections of road:

1 That section of the entire width of Castle Gable, Perth extending from the junction of Castle Gable, Perth with Bridge Lane, Perth northwestwards to the junction of Castle Gable, Perth with North Port, Perth a distance of 82 metres or thereby.
2 That section of the entire width of footway on the west side of Castle Gable, Perth extending from the north kerbline of Mill Street, Perth northwards then westwards to the south-east kerbline of North Port, Perth a distance of 97 metres or thereby.
3 That section of the entire width of footway on the east side of Castle Gable, Perth extending from the west kerbline of Bridge Lane, Perth westwards then northwards to the south-east kerbline of North Port, Perth a distance of 75 metres or thereby.

All as the said areas are delineated and zebra hatched on the plan annexed and executed as relative to the Order.

The Order is about to be submitted to the Scottish Ministers for confirmation, or, if no objections to the Order are received, to be confirmed by Perth and Kinross Council as an unopposed Order.

A copy of the Order and relevant Plan showing the parts of Castle Gable, Perth to be stopped up may be examined during normal office hours and without payment of fee at the following addresses:

1 Perth and Kinross Council Offices, Main Reception, 2 High Street, Perth.
2 A K Bell Library, York Place, Perth.
3 Perth and Kinross Council Offices, Department of Planning and Development, Pullar House, 35 Kinnoull Street, Perth.

Any person may within 28 days from Friday 20th September 2002 object to the proposed Order by notice in writing to the Head of Legal Services, Perth and Kinross Council, 2 High Street, Perth. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds upon which they are made.
