Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) Order The Department for Regional Development has made a Statutory Rule on 13th March 2013 entitled The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2013 (S.R. 2013 No. 64) which comes into operation on 3rd April 2013.
The Order will create parking places with unlimited waiting at Armagh: D’Alton Road; Ballymena: Henry Street (3 Bays) and Queen Street; Belfast: Larkfield Gardens, Ponsonby Avenue, Ravenhill Avenue, Willowfield Parade; Donaghmore: Main Street; Dundonald: Craignish Crescent; Larne: Sallagh Park North, Upper Cairncastle Road, Craigyhill Bungalows; Loughbrickland: Woodside Park; Maghera: Station Road; Middletown: Church Street; Moneymore: Rockview Park; Moy (Charlemont): Garrison Place; Moygashel: Prince Andrew Crescent; Newtownabbey: Beverley Road Car Park (2 Bays) and facing the Fairview Road entrance (2 Bays); Randalstown: Tresna Park; Waringsford: Eirford Park.
The Order will create parking places with waiting limited to 3 hours Monday to Saturday between 8.00 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. with no return within 1 hour or 6.30 p.m.at Londonderry: Great James Street and Shipquay Street.
All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.
The Order will remove the following parking places at Belfast: Delaware Street and Larkfield Road; Dromore: Mountview Drive; Portadown: Oakwood Place.
