THE AUTOMATIC ENROLMENT (MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS) REGULATIONS (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2012

The Department for Social Development has made a Statutory Rule entitled “the Automatic Enrolment (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012” (S.R. 2012 No. 232), which comes into operation on 7 June 2012.

The Rule amends the Occupational and Personal Pension Schemes (Automatic Enrolment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010 (S.R. 2010 No. 122), the Employers’ Duties (Implementation) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010 (S.R. 2010 No. 123) and the Employers’ Duties (Registration and Compliance) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010 (S.R. 2010 No. 186) which establish the compliance regime, set out the practical arrangements underpinning automatic enrolment and set out the arrangements to implement the employer duties under the Pensions (No. 2) Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
