OFF-STREET PARKING ORDER

The Department for Regional Development has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Off-Street Parking (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2012 (S.R. 2012 No. 216) which will come into operation on 18th June 2012.

The Rule introduces charges for parking at the following car parks - Lonsdale Street, Armagh ; Ann Street, Ballycastle ; Harryville, Ballymena ; Bridge Street East, Downshire Place North and Townsend Street, Banbridge ; Central Avenue and Dufferin Avenue, Bangor ; Ashdale Street and Marlborough Avenue, Belfast ; Waterside, Coleraine ; Riverdale (East), Larne ; Main Street, Limavady ; Queen’s Quay North, Londonderry ; Moore’s Lane 2 and Waring Street 3, Lurgan ; Central, Magherafelt ; New Brighton Terrace, Omagh ; Magowan Buildings 1, West Street and William Street, Portadown and Upper Main Street, Strabane .

Charges for a park and ride facility will be introduced at car parks at Eastside, Northside and York Street II, Belfast .

The rule will also increase the charges for parking at Station Street, Belfast .
