PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (NORTHERN IRELAND) REGULATIONS IPPC

Notice is hereby given that ERE Developments Limited has applied to the Chief Inspector for an IPPC permit to operate an installation involving the incineration of non-hazardous (wood) waste in a co-incineration plant. The installation will be located at 18 Lisahally Road, Co L’Derry BT47 6FL in the Derry City Council area. The application contains all particulars as required by the Regulations including a description of foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. A copy of the application is available for public inspection free of charge between the hours of 09.30-12.00 and 14.00-15.30 at NIEA, Klondyke Building, Cromac Avenue, Gasworks Business Park, Lower Ormeau Road, Belfast BT7 2JA and Derry City Council, 98 Strand Road, Derry, BT48 7NN. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying.  Written representations about the application may be sent to the Chief Inspector of the Industrial Pollution & Radiochemical Inspectorate, NIEA, at the address above, within 42 days from the date of this notice.  All representations will be placed on the public register unless a representation contains a written request to the contrary. If there is a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been such a request.
