THE ROADS (SPEED LIMIT) (NO. 3) ORDER (NI) 2011

The Department for Regional Development has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Roads (Speed Limit) Order (Northern Ireland) 2011 (S.R. 2011 No. 401) which comes into operation on 9th December 2011.

The effect of the Order is to —

• apply a 30 miles per hour speed limit to a length of Clooney Road (Service Road), Londonderry .

• apply a 40 miles per hour speed limit to lengths of Woodside Road, Ballymena ; Airport Road, Airport Link Road, Clooney Road, Coolafinney Road, Madam’s Bank Road (Foyle Bridge) and McClean Road, Londonderry .

• apply a 40 miles per hour speed limit to the entire lengths of Caw Roundabout and Courtauld Way, Londonderry .

• apply a 50 miles per hour speed limit to a length of Madam’s Bank Road (Foyle Bridge), Londonderry .

• de-restrict lengths of Ballygowan Road and Hillsborough Road, Hillsborough ; Airport Link Road, Ballygudden Road, Brisland Road, Campsey Service Road (North) (formerly Clooney Road), Cloghole Link Road, Clooney Road, Coolafinney Link Road, Craigback Road, Donnybrewer Road, Donnybrewer Link Road, McLean Road and New Dual Carriageway, Londonderry .

• de-restrict the entire lengths of New Link Road, Hillsborough and Broadbridge Roundabout, Campsey Roundabout and Longfield Roundabout, Londonderry .
