PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (NORTHERN IRELAND) REGULATIONS 2003
INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Tyrone Energy Ltd applied to the Chief Inspector for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) Permit to operate an installation involving the Burning fuels manufactured from waste or comprising, any other waste in an appliance with a rated thermal input of 3 megawatts or more, but less than 50 megawatts, unless the activity is carried out as part of a part B or part C activity. The installation is located at 3 Art Road, Artigarvan, County Tyrone BT82 0HA.

The application contains all particulars as required by the Regulations including a description of foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment.

The application contains all the elements in Schedule 4 (1) of the regulations.

The application falls within the provisions of paragraphs 1 (1) (I) and 13 or paragraph 17.

A copy of the application is available for public inspection free of charge between the hours of 09.30-12.00 and 14.00-15.30 at Northern Ireland Environment Agency, Klondyke Building, Cromac Avenue, Gasworks Business Park, Lower Ormeau Road, Belfast BT7 2JA and Strabane District Council, 47 Derry Road, Strabane BT80 8DY. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the register can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the cost of photocopying.

Written representations about the application may be sent to the Chief Inspector of the Industrial Pollution & Radiochemical Inspectorate, Northern Ireland Environment Agency, (address above), within 42 days from 1 July 2011. All representations will be placed on the public register unless a representation contains a written request to the contrary. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been such a request.
