A5 Western Transport Corridor

Addendum

Further to the Notice which was first published during week ending 19 November 2010, the Department for Regional Development hereby gives notice in accordance with Article 67A(3) and (9) of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993, that it has prepared an Addendum to the Environmental Statement on the effects of the proposed A5 Western Transport Corridor. The Addendum reports the findings of further assessments that have been undertaken in relation to air quality and traffic noise following updating of the Traffic Model.This document should be read in conjunction with the Environmental Statement already published.This Addendum, along with the full Environmental Statement, may be inspected by any person, free of charge, at all reasonable hours during the period 22 March 2011 to 6 May 2011 at the Roads Service offices of:

• Western Division, County Hall, Drumragh Avenue, Omagh;

• Boaz House, 15 Scarffe’s Entry, Omagh;

• Omagh Section Office, 32 Deverney Road, Arvalee, Omagh;

• Dungannon Section Office, Moygashel Depot, Main Street, Moygashel;

• Strabane Section Office, 20 Derry Road, Strabane;

• Headquarters, Room 2-13, Clarence Court, 10-18 Adelaide Street, Belfast;

• Northern Division, Derry Section Office, 1 Crescent Road, Londonderry;

and at the offices of–

• Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council, Circular Road, Dungannon;

• Strabane District Council, 47 Derry Road, Strabane;

• Derry City Council, 98 Strand Road, Londonderry;

• Omagh District Council, The Grange, Mountjoy Road, Omagh;

• Monaghan County Council, Roads Office, MTEK II Office, Armagh Road, Monaghan, Co. Monaghan; and

• Donegal County Council, Public Services Centre, Drumlonagher, Donegal Town, Co. Donegal.

Alternatively, an electronic version of the Addendum is available for viewing at www.drdni.gov.uk/index/publications/publications and the Addendum, along with the Environmental Statement, is also available on the project website www.a5wtc.com/.
