Notice is given that the Department for Regional Development made on 14th May 2008 an Order entitled The Roads (Speed Limit) (No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2008 (S.R. 2008 No. 216) which will come into operation on 9th June 2008.
The effect of the Order is to:
apply a 40 miles per hour speed limit to Stiles Ways, Antrim and Flying Horse Road, Downpatrick and to lengths of the following roads—
Bush Road and Steeple Road, Antrim; Holywood Road and Parkway, Belfast; Ardglass Road and Struell Wells Road, Downpatrick; Ballypollard Road, Ballycarry, Larne; Ballagh Road, Lisnaskea; and Parkgate Road, Parkgate.
de-restrict a length of Ballypollard Road, Ballycarry, Larne.
As a consequence of the revocations and by virtue of Articles 36(1) and 37(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 a 30 miles per hour speed limit will apply to a length of Garron Road, Waterfoot.
